Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not want your birth date, and we have built the site so that we never receive it. Every calculator on this site runs as JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create.

What the calculators do with your input

When you enter a date, it is processed on your device. The arithmetic is a few lines of JavaScript that adds numbers together and reduces them. Your date is not transmitted to our servers, not written to a database, and not shared with anyone.

You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and enter a date. You will see no request carrying it.

The one thing we do store

If you tick "Remember this date on this device", the date is saved in your browser's localStorage — a small storage area on your own machine. It is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or unticking the box, removes it.

What we do collect

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views, so we know which calculators are worth improving. That gives us aggregate information such as which pages are popular and which countries visits come from. It does not give us your birth date, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

If advertising is enabled on this site, ad providers may use cookies to select and measure ads. You can control this through your browser settings and, where applicable, the consent banner.

Server logs

Like every website, our host records standard request logs — IP address, the page requested, and a timestamp — for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not linked to any calculation, because the calculation never reaches the server.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. It is a tool for reflection and entertainment, not a source of advice.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it.
